How did this getb through your defenses?

This past week I suddenly had a message appear that my laptop was locked for security purposes and I needed to contact Microsoft immediately for help and a phone number was provided. Sure enough my screen was locked prohibiting me from doing anything so, despite the warning not to turn off my computer I did turn off my computer and restarted it. The message was gone and has not return. I recently upgraded my Malwarebytes subscription and don't understand how this got through your defenses. Please advise.

Dear Malwarebytes,

I am TRYING to buy a Subscription for a PLUS Bundle, for 3 Devices, from your website, but unfortunately, your website is NOT showing me the correct Subscription price when it takes me through to the Checkout Screen, so I CANNOT Checkout and buy the Subscription I want! On your website, it offers me a Plus Bundle for 3 Devices, which includes:

1>Premium Security: 24/7 antivirus & anti-malware protection

2>Browser Guard: Extension for a faster, safer, and cleaner browsing experience

3>Privacy VPN: Online privacy with speeds faster than traditional VPNs

The price shown is £5.00 per month, billed annually for £59.99.

However, when I click on the Buy Button, it takes me to the next screen, which then offers me a Special Offer of 2 Years, for the price of £129.48, which is CLEARLY NOT a Special Offer, since 2 Years at the advertised price of £59.99 (£5.00 per month), would only cost me £119.98! So next, I click on the No Thank you Button, and it then takes me to the next screen, which is the Checkout Page, but I am then told that the 1 Year Subscription is £5.83 per month, billed at £69.99, when it SHOULD BE £5.00 per month, billed at £59.99, which was the Advertised Price! So I therefore CANNOT then proceed, and COMPLETE my purchase!

So will you PLEASE contact me, regarding this issue, as your website is NOT charging the CORRECT price when I get to the Checkout Page? Thank you, I shall look forward to hearing back from you, very soon, regarding this issue.

You are blocking all sports websites. .For many years was always able to connect to all sport websites. You are blocking ALL due to Riskware. If you cannot solve the problem i will cancel my membership Very disappointed with your service. sent numerous emails and never received a replay. Tried to chat and call on telephone without any success..

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I submitted a service request ticket explaining the problem. Nine days later I got an offer for a full refund or an extension to my current subscription

On Jan 9, 2024 my credit card posted a charge from 2cocommalware bytes for $48.41. I was surprised because my Malwarebytes subscription renews on 5/10 and is up to date.

What is this charge for?? I have reached out twice to Malwarebytes though technical support and have not received a response. I have deactivated my auto renew feature.
I have had Malwarebytes protection for several years and hold the product in high regard but will be forced to abandon the my subscription if unexplained charges appear.

A search of the web finds several similar complaints from your customers. So again: "Why was I charged $48.41 on Jan 9 2024?"

Over charged my account

Malware Bytes charged my bank account twice for $11.99. First time on January 19, 2024. Second charge on January 22, 2024. I have tried at least 6 times to have my bank account credited. As of today, Malware Bytes has still not credited my bank account. I Cancelled my subscription with Malware Bytes and expect a Full Refund of, $11.99 X 2. Could not talk with anyone I tried for 20 minutes to work through your system without any success I was looking to talk to someone to protect my phone and it was not successful with any of it. Cant get anyone to return my call. What do I need to do to talk to a person about my problem? I keep getting messages threatening my phone. I thought Malware was supposed to block that and I have not had any success.
