I made a mistake Malwarebytes is a great oro. My mistake.
I have been getting charges to my credit card without an explanation. No one is picking up the phone and I am really pissed.
I get charges to my credit card without any explanation.
This is supposed to be a yearly subscription, but I am getting outrageous charges almost on a daily basis. Please have them explain what is going on and call me.

Why should continue to use your product, since I can not speaking some one?
Since you website in not clear as to my my uipgrade options are.limited.
Why should I not move to a diffeent company for my service. the advanages to a live person they can explain this in a miniutes.
However with a poorly written AI, IT DOES NOT HAVE ANSWER.
as a long time customer, this just makes me mad. However seem that bitdender, norton seem to be litlle better prices.

I would like to cancel the Malwarebytes 7-day free trial I signed up for on August 12, 2025. I have Googled how to cancel and the instructions don't make any sense.
I have tried going on to Google Play as instructed, but it leads to nowhere. I have tried going to my account and clicking on subscription where supposedly it'll give the option to click on cancel your subscription.
This also leads nowhere.
Please consider this as notification that I am canceling my subscription as of now. I will not pay for Malwarebytes or for Google 1 that somehow got slipped into this Free Trial.
Thank you for removing my account from your services.

It is non-existent. You need to give all this private information before you supposedly will get a response. I am not comfortable giving out this information.
I don't want to give a lot of unnecessary personal information to be connected with an AI bot. I would like to talk to someone in customer service. Please answer the phone when someone calls the customer service contact number.

I cannot log into my account. I already tried to reset my password, but I can't get into it.
I tried calling, and it's just the same recording to log into my account and send a chat with an agent.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Credit to charge card. Tried to contact a live representative but was unable.

Never have experienced such a round around to complete a simple transaction. Enrolled in your Malwarebytes Standard coverage for 24 months on July 18, 2025 through your Malwarebytes website.
Charged $84.54 to my VISA card. After further research on my part I discovered I already had virus protection on another security policy I maintain. So within 5 hours after subscribing, I asked to cancel.
Your website site states 60 day money back guarantee. I apologize for the inconvenience, but all I request is a statement indicating a credit refund of the amount charged.

User's recommendation: Very hard to contact a live person to discuss an issues. Don't know if it was because I instructed my bank to stop/investigate payment or the assistance of pissedconsumer.com, but I did get a confirmation of my whole refund in an email on July 22, 2025. Thanks for the assistance. Personally I would have a big concern about customer service with Malewarebytes.

I have wasted 4-5 hours of my life trying to correct my email address. Without a correct email address, MBytes cannot send me the renewed keys.
I am therefore stuck trying to set up my service. Without an email account, you cannot send me the new keys.

I received notice today that my yearly payment was denied. I forgot to notify the company that the credit card on file had been compromised and closed by the bank. I went into the link provided and put in the new credit card information. I did have to change my password because I couldn't find the older one. When confirmation came up, it showed I had purchased 3 subscriptions instead of 1. Now, trying to get back into the system, it states either my username or password is incorrect. The old email of dssi1199@***t had been discontinued due to the card issue. I need help. Since there is no phone number to your company, I'm stuck replying to the computer, hoping someone will respond. HELP!!! I also have been unable to find my key number.

Immediately upon clicking the box to send my review to Malwarebytes Customer Support (email address provided), I received a response email advising I had sent my request to an unmonitored email box!You know, I wish companies would understand that to keep customers it is not enough to have great products. It is not enough to behave fantastically when things are going great. It is equally important (if not more so) to be accessible and responsive when things have turned the other way.
After a period of time, I decided I did not like Premium/Advanced as I had to disable it constantly in order to access many accounts (insurance accounts, streaming accounts, etc.). When my Malwarebytes Standard account came up for automatic renewal on June 20, 2024 (reference #23627****), my renewal went through for $49.95. To ensure that didn't occur with Advanced, I changed that account to NO automatic renewal, which was confirmed (reference #S5680****). A few days ago, I received an email reminding me to renew so I could keep my Premium account.
I clicked on my Malwarebytes icon and found I not only no longer have my Premium account (which is what I wanted), but my Standard account is gone as well - even though it was paid up through June 2025. I am angry for a couple of reasons. First, it appears that my Malwarebytes services were not rolled into one, but I must have had two separate accounts. I can't tell you the exact numbers because whatever those account numbers were, I cannot see them anymore via the icon.
My main problem now is that I want to make sure the Standard account no longer auto-renews because then I will be fighting with Malwarebytes and my credit card company to get any new charges reversed. Please cancel the auto-renew for my Malwarebytes Standard account if that has not already been done. I was very pleased with my Standard account, but to find that the Standard and Advanced were actually two separate accounts instead of being rolled into one (except for renewal purposes apparently since my Standard account should still be in good standing until June 2025) is not acceptable. Had I not saved my confirmation emails, I would have really been screwed!
I will try to call next week, but I am not expecting that will work out so well. Malwarebytes came very highly recommended to me and justifiably so...until this. I am afraid straightening this out is going to be a big hassle. It already is becoming one.
Please confirm that someone at Malwarebytes has received this and is working on it. Thank you, Abigail Reeves.

Preferred solution: I want to make sure that the auto-renew on my original Standard membership is removed so that I no longer auto-renew each June.
User's recommendation: Apparently Malwarebytes does not roll new services into customers' previous account numbers (at least not to mine). Although Malwarebytes provided decent security/protection services, I am anticipating one big massive headache straightening out what happened when I upgraded. BIGGEST advice: SAVE ALL of your confirmation emails with this company! Not only will you need them for proof with Malwarebytes, but you will need them for proof for your credit card bank!. I have a feeling I might be challenging auto-renewal changes for years from this company. I hope I am wrong, but I will follow through if I am not.

Similar bad experience with Malwarebytes. They have very poor customer service and I have found it impisdibke to work with them.
